Use the MasterGage Professional when you want one measured system for checking, setting, and troubleshooting a wide range of woodworking-machine relationships. It is designed for woodworkers who want to move beyond factory scales, visual estimates, and repeated trial cuts by establishing physical references for machine setup.
What the Professional helps you check and set
- Height, depth, squareness, parallelism, and other linear machine references

Use the Professional when a machine begins producing tapered cuts, out-of-square work, inconsistent angles, uneven milling, or joinery that does not fit as expected. Measure first, identify which relationship has changed, then adjust according to the machine manufacturer’s procedure. Its dial indicator, height scales, protractor, and compatible accessories support a systematic approach to setup.
The system is self-contained: no battery, charging, app, pairing, or software is required. Refer to the Professional manual for the specific machine procedure, disconnect power before adjustment, and make test cuts before machining finished work.
