Table Saw Alignment Gauges
MasterGage tools help woodworkers measure and verify the table saw relationships behind dependable setup. Check the blade against the miter slot then use that reference to evaluate the rip fence miter gauge angles and applicable runout.
Machine Set Up
Table saw alignment begins with a known miter-slot reference. Check blade parallelism using the same marked tooth at the front and rear positions then check the rip fence against that reference. Investigate blade arbor or flange runout when readings vary. Make adjustments according to the saw manufacturer’s instructions and follow normal table-saw safety practices.
Machine Maintenence
• Check blade parallelism to the miter slot
• Check rip-fence relationship to the miter-slot reference
• Inspect applicable arbor or flange runout during troubleshooting
• Verify miter gauge blade height and bevel references
• Support repeatable setup after blade changes or maintenance

The following MasterGage precision alignment tools are designed for use with a Table Saw
MasterGage® Professional Package
The MasterGage Professional is a broad woodworking-machine alignment, calibration, setup, and troubleshooting system. It combines a precision dial indicator, height scales, protractor capability, and accessories for measured setup across compatible machines.
MasterGage® Classic Package
The MasterGage Classic is a versatile non-angular woodworking-machine alignment and setup system. Use its precision-ground body, dial indicator, scales, and accessories to check heights, squareness, parallelism, and applicable machine relationships.
Universal Angle Guide & Height Gauge
Transfer and read woodworking angles, set saw blade or router-bit height, and work from a clear physical reference with the Universal Angle Guide & Height Gauge. It reads 0 to 180 degrees in 1/2-degree increments and includes fractional and metric height gauges.
SuperBar
The SuperBar is a precision miter-slot reference tool with an included dial indicator for table saw alignment and troubleshooting. Check blade-to-slot parallelism, rip-fence alignment, and applicable arbor, flange, or blade runout with readings in 0.001 inch increments.
SuperBar – For Shopsmith (.720″ Slots)
The Shopsmith SuperBar is a table-saw alignment tool configured for Shopsmith miter slots. Its adjustable bar and included dial indicator help establish a measured reference for blade, fence, and applicable runout checks.
MasterPlate
Use the MasterPlate as a broad, precision-ground reference surface for aligning compatible table saws and other saws. Its 6 x 10 inch aluminum plate provides more usable measuring surface than a toothed saw blade when checking miter-slot parallelism, blade squareness, miter settings, and bevel settings.
